Self Referral

Most referrals to other specialists will require you seeing or speaking with a GP. However, there are a number of local services, listed below, that you are able to make self referrals to.

Physiotherapy and Musculoskeletal Specialist

You can self refer for Physiotherapy and specialist tests, scans and therapies through Healthshare. They offer a wide range of information and resources for all joint pains, aches and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system like arthritis.

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital – antenatal care

We are passionate about the quality of care we provide and our woman-focused approach looks at your needs throughout each and every stage of your pregnancy. We provide maternity services at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, West Middlesex University Hospital and in the community, supporting around 12,000 women a year who give birth with us. You can choose to plan to give birth at either of our hospitals or at home.

St Marys and Queen Charlotte’s Hospitals – antenatal care

Congratulations on your pregnancy and thank you for choosing to have your maternity care at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. We provide maternity care at two hospital sites; St Mary’s Hospital and Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital. At both sites this includes midwifery led birth centres and obstetric-led labour wards. We also offer care in the community, which includes home births.

Sexual Health London

SHL.UK is a discreet sexual health service for Londoners. Our STI testing service is for people who have mild or no STI symptoms, and would like to get themselves checked. You can also request free regular and emergency contraception (effective up to 5 days after unprotected sex) by completing a simple, secure online consultation.

Learning Disability Carers

A programme of social activities for carers of people with learning disabilities. They will continue this by providing 10 activities for over 30 carers and provide advice and information to over 50 carers.

Activities for People with Mental Health Needs at Grove Resource Centre

The centre offers a variety of computing, pottery, sewing, recovery groups, a safe space (drop in), walking group, gardening and a women's group. There are also Friday outings to different places Opening hours Office: Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm. Drop in hours: 11am - 2pm everyday except Wednesday (by referral).

Advocacy for Older People with Mental Health needs

Free, independent and confidential IMHA (Independent Mental Health Advocacy) and Mental Health Advocacy. This is available to older people with a mental health issue in hospital and in the community.

Kick It

At Kick-It we provide a free, evidence-based service for smokers 13 years and over who would like support in giving up smoking. All our clients receive six weeks of 1-1 support from a specialist stop smoking advisor who will tailor their support to each individual, as we recognise that everyone is different.

MobilityScooters and Wheelchairs
